"Well **** this shit", Martin lights a cigarette. "They probably don't need our help anyway Naru, they seem to have it all handled and they look more than capable of looking after themselves if they can just do **** like transporting us out here in a flash", Martin laughs and sits down on a nearby rock, pulling the cigarette out of his mouth to take a swig of his water bottle before he puts the cigarette back in his mouth...

"Yeah they do seem to have themselves covered. You shouldn't have yelled at that guy though, if you continued to be polite we might have gotten further, or at least not got kicked out. What should we do next?"

"The **** would I know and don't tell me not to yell at them, he was asking for it. I didn't come here to **** around with them, so I don't need your high and mighty shit", Martin takes another puff of his cigarette, "Well, I don't know about you, but I need a drink and I'm getting tired. It would be nice if we could find some nice beds to sleep in rather than having to sleep on the floor and if Kasdeya is really going to attack this world, that city is probably the safest place to be right now," Martin stands up from where he is sitting, "hopefully we can get back into the city", Martin starts walking back through the gates and up the winding path to the city...

"Hey, there's no need to get angry at me" says Naru in annoyance, catching up to Martin "And I wasn't getting high and mighty, I'm just saying that it's not always better to get angry at people and start yelling at them! It's not constructive. At all."

Naru sighs and takes a breath. "I'd like a proper sleep and meal as well."

Martin walks up the winding path with Naru, when they get to the top they attempt to enter the city again...

They enter uninhibited, the robed men ignoring them.

"Hmm", Martin looks around for the robed guy that he was speaking to before, to see if he still is where he was before...

He is, and he is still greeting pilgrims.

Martin walks up to the guy, "hello again, listen I see how it works here, I understand that you don't need trouble in your city, I understand that. I'm just trying to help with what's happening, If your people don't want to tell me the plan, very well, but I won't be much help unless I know what is going on. So what is it, do you want us to wait?"

"The light will protect us, as it always has."

"Lets hope so, well then, we have traveled a long way, we are tired and hungry and yet we have no money, what do you suggest we do?"

The man waves toward a building.
"That building is an inn, you will have complimentary rooms and food while you stay there."

"Ok then, well thanks", Martin leaves the guy and enters the inn...

Naru sincerley thanks the man and follows Martin into the in.

Inside, there are several tables packed with people, a bar with stools and a couple more people, some stairs that led to the second level that overlooked the first and also had some rooms.

Martin walks up to the bar and finds and sits on an empty stool, looking for the bartender...

Naru sits on a stool next to Martin, looking around the room at the other patrons.

The bartender walks up to them from the other side of the bar.
"Welcome, friends. What can I get you?"

"Hi, we were told by one of the guardians of this city that we would be able to get free rooms and food for our stay in this city"

"Of course. You can have the room upstairs, third door on the left."

"Ok, do we get a key?"

"The door has a lock that needs no key."

"Uh, ok then. Well, can we get a meal please?"

"Certainly. Is there anything you desire?"

Naru pipes up "I'd like a steak sandwich and a large lemonade thanks".
