Naru spots a man in an alley waving frantically at her. He motions urgently, and disappears back into the alley.

Naru warily follows the man in the alleyway.

he leads her around another alley, to come upon a man's body on the floor in a pool of blood.
The man who had been leading her looks at her with wide eyes.
"You need to help me! I'm innocent, I swear, but they won't listen when they find this body! I will be arrested soon, you have to find out who did this before the trial concludes!"
He looks around as three men come running down the alley.
"Halt criminal!" They tackle him and punch him a few times, then handcuff him.

"Oi!" Shouts Naru to the two men "What's happening here? Why are you arresting him? How do you know he killed him?" She says, gesturing to the body.

"We got a tip from someone. Get out of the way, or you're going on trial as an accessory to murder!"

"Okay okay" says Naru, walking away from them and into the pub to look for Martin and Andrew

There is a tense air though the bar when she walks in. Everyone freezes in place, as if she caught them doing something. They all are just playing pool and having a drink.

Naru ignores the staring and walks to the bar and sits down on a stool.

The bartender hesitantly walks up to her.
"Can...Can I help you, young lady?"

"Yeah you can actually. Why is everyone suddenly acting all...strange?"

"We are... uh... Just surprised to see a lady in here. We mainly get men."

"Are women not allowed?"

"Sure you're allowed, we just don't get very many."

"Awesome. Is there a reason for that though?"

"Womenfolk just don't like it here."

"I guess I'm not folk then. Listen, I need a bit of help. Did a guy come in earlier with black hair, and lots of military type equipment?"

The barman thinks for a moment, then shakes his head.
"Nope, I can't recall anyone who looks like that."

"Oh, well thanks anyway. One more thing before I'm out of your hair. Can you point me to where court trials are held?"

"It's just out the door and down the street to the left, the building with the giant sign saying "courthouse".

"Thanks dude" says Naru, leaving the bar and walking back to the village center. She really has no idea what she can do for the poor man.

An old wrinkled man whispers to her from a nearby alleyway.
"I know you're lookin' for evidence to clear that man. I overheard it. I might just be able to help you. For a price..."

Naru walks to the old man, but keeps her distance. "What price would that be?"

He licks his withered, cracked lips.
"I'm sure we could figure something out."

Naru puts her hands on her hips "You're going to have to be more specific."

"Why don't you come and talk to me in my house? We can discuss the details there."
