"Ok then... so how do we get these implants into our hands to control the artillery?"

The man laughs heartily.
"Oh, you won't be controlling them. I will."

"Oh ok then... Well I think the best idea for us is to go to the Sun Mountain, it seems from what Kasdeya has said to Emilia when he had control of her that, that mountain is where he is going to direct his attack and the guardians of that city in Sun Mountain may be able to help us to defeat Niac. Do you have any transport which we could use to get to the Sun Mountain?" Martin asks Bill

Bill shakes his head.
"The road leads to a village a bit further down. Might have better luck there."

"Ok then, thanks a lot for your help. Another thing, all of my equipment was taken from me when I was drugged and attacked in an earlier incident, all I have at the moment is this handgun and a knife. You seem like a man who would know how to protect himself, are there any better weapons that you could spare to give to me, like a good quality assault rifle and some grenades?"

He thinks for a moment.
"Well, I do have this experimental gun I was working on. Still a prototype though."
He goes inside and retrieves a vicious looking assault rifle, with wicked blades along the bottom and a jagged design.
"Give this a shot."
He passes it to Martin.

Martin looks at the assault rifle with interest, "Alright then", Martin takes the gun outside and fires into the distance of the desert to see what will happen...

The bullet flies off into the distance.
"I'm afraid you won't actually see what makes it so great until you can use it on an enemy. Trust me, it will be worth it."

"Ok then, well thanks a lot for your help, we'll be going then. Farewell and good luck", Martin says as he waves to Bill and walks onto the road, "Are you coming?" Martin says to Emilia and Naru...

"Ha! Go ahead. You just have a giant target on your ass from in on if I go with you."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Kasdeya will be out to get me now. Seriously, get far away from me."

"We can't leave you here on your own. The mountain people might be able to help - they have defences against the evil forces."

"Yeah, like they are going to trust me again."

"Oh come on Emilia, look I'm not worried. What else are you going to do anyway, stay here?" *laughs* "Listen, we're going to the Sun Mountain, that is the safest place to be now anyway to hide from Kasdeya. You of all people should know that the guardians there are the greatest threat to Kasdeya with their powers of pureness and light, you will be safest there. Once we get there you can stay there ok and after all, if you stay here, Kasdeya is more likely to take over your mind again. I don't think you want that to happen and don't worry about the Guardians of Sun Mountain not letting you in, I gave them a call just before we found you and they told us all about you. They understand that you were under the influence of evil powers and they are very happy to welcome you back into their city, so that they can protect you. So, why don't you come with us?" Martin puts out his hand to Emilia in a kind gesture...

"We have references from the seer queen, from Eolande who is now queen of the kingdom, and probably from this engineer as well. You can make your own drugs, I can see through stuff and change light. How can they not trust us?"

"The fact that you are taking it so casually...you are screwed."

Emilia walks away from them.

"Just because I'm not freaking out like you, doesn't mean that I am taking this casually. I understand the gravity of the situation here Emilia, but there is no point in us standing around here like a bunch of **** heads. We need to move fast, Kasdeya's attack on that city is imminent and you know him more than anybody else, you will be of great help to the city and all of us. You can make right the deeds that you have done wrong when Kasdeya had control over you, I know that this is scary for you, but you've got to be brave about this. Kasdeya may take over anybody else's minds, I don't think you really want that to happen since you have experienced it yourself, so why don't you come..."

"WHAT!? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

Emilia turns around, blows them a kiss and keeps walking.

"Oh for **** sake... You know I don't think she is in her right mind, Kasdeya could be controlling her right now for all we know", Martin says to Naru, he then talks softly enough so that Emilia can't hear him "I would try to force her to come, tie her up or something, but that is a bad idea considering her ability to create drugs at will, too risky. What do you think we should do?"

"Yeah, I'm really not sure. I agree, we shouldn't tie her up, but we can't really let her off in the desert by herself. She is right though, we have no defences against Kasdeya. We don't know the full extent of his powers. We could just follow her." She says to Martin in an undertone.

Catching up to Emilia, she says to her "Where are you heading off to?"

"I'm not following that crazy bitch", Martin says to himself, he just stays where he is by the hut, waiting to see what Naru is going to do...

"I'm pretending I have selective hearing, BITCH!"

She pulls out her pistol and keeps walking.

"JUST STAY AWAY ************!" she says, whilst she fires a warning shot into the air.

"Okay then fine. You really don't want to be helped, then there isn't much that Martin and I can do about it." Naru says to Emilia.

"Come on Martin, lets go find this bloody mountain then."

Martin starts walking down the road with Naru towards the next town that Bill had mentioned earlier...
