"These are very nice," Emilia tries to say in a way like she cares. "Say, I am new around here. What is there to know about this city?"

"Oh this city is fantastic! Have you seen how big it is? Half of it is inside the mountain!"

"Is there a king or something here?"

She thinks for a moment.
"You know, I don't really know. Nobody really questions who is in charge, they do a great job. Not a single crime in this city since it was built."

"Where do I find the leader? I want to congratulate them on such a beautiful city"

"I don't really know, maybe ask one of those robed men that glow? But before you do, how about buying some of this lovely silk?"

"I'm sorry, I don't have any money."

her demeanour changes considerably.
"Well get a job then you stupid pilgrim! No point going into a shop when you have no money is it? Stop wasting my time!"

Her want to kill the woman rises, but she suppresses it and walks away.

She walks down the street to find a glowing robed man.

There is one standing in the opening to an alley.

She walks up to the man.

"Hello kind sir."

"Greetings, pilgrim. Can I be of assistance?"

Emilia bows

"I have some questions about this amazing place. Who is the great leader of this place?"

"The knowledge of this cities leadership is privy only to those who have earned that privilege. I am sorry, but only those with connections to the leadership know about it."

"Ok then. How did they manage to build a giant city inside a mountain?"

"I was built many centuries ago by an unknown race. The city glowed with an unusual light, and my people arrived here to investigate. We absorbed the light and became the guardians on this mountain and this city. We name this place Sun Mountain."

"Guardians?"

"We protect this place with the light we absorbed. It gave use abilities that had not been seen before."

"Why, is someone trying to harm you and the people?"

"The Blood Lord Niac and his demon Kasdeya seek to destroy all that is good."

"I know who they are. Kasdeya has tried to hurt me and my people. Please, let me help you. He is coming."

"He has hurt a great many people. We already know he is coming, and are prepared to stop him. I doubt any help you can offer will be of use."

"And why is that?"

"You are but a single pilgrim."

"No, I am not. I have certain abilities that might be of use to you and the people. Please, don't freak out."

Emilia takes out her knife and holds her arm out. She cuts a long line.
It disappears in a few seconds.
