"Giving a damn about other people helps for a start."

She walks off.

The remaining time before the storm passes, with Lesley going into the care of a hospital after the team discovered he was actually in a coma, and the now-larger team spending their time at the cliff face and at the inn's bar, drinking and getting to know each other. The storm is closer every day, until finally it is boiling and writhing in the sky just before the Mountain. The engineer Bill arrived, with massive artillery machines he set up on the other side of the mountain, the Seer Queen came with her guards and 100 armed men, and Eolande and Wicker set up with their 1000-strong force. The robed men gathered to watch the storm from the entry castle's rooftop, along with the team and their allies. The city was eerily quiet, the storm was rumbling in place next to the mountain.

Emilia found herself standing on top of the entry castle with everyone, still disguised.

"Do it and die Kaz," Emilia says in her head.

The robed men hold up their hands to the sky and begin chanting. Light shines out of the mountain and plunges into the dark storm clouds. The storm recoils for a moment, then slowly advances over the city.
A robed man drops his hands to his side.
"The leader is dead..." he whispers in fear. The robed men all collapse to the ground, dead. The city erupts in screams and the storm moves overhead. rain pours into the massive city, only the part inside the mountain staying dry. Lightning flashes down with incredible force, tearing apart buildings and setting the city ablaze. Part of the entry castle is blasted away by lightning.

Emilia is in the talons of the giant winged dragon carried away into the sky. The team eventually fade away into the distance and the storm rages on, destroying the city below. The dragon appears to be flying to a specific place and is being careful not to hurt Emilia, but the dragon is bleeding heavily and swaying a bit, it can be seen that the dragon can't fly for much longer...

"Come on Kaz. You can't let this dragon die."

Emilia receives no reply, the dragon continues to fly for about 10 minutes to the other side of the city and begins its decent, landing on the entry steps leading up to the main government building, where Emilia had spoken to the leader of the Guardians of Light once before. The dragon lets Emilia go and bows its head as if to indicate to Emilia that she needs to go inside the government building. The storm rages on and nothing can be seen, but death and destruction, but the government building appears to be relatively intact as if it was protected from the storm.

Emilia walks up to the door.

It is a huge pair of double doors. The doors are open, slightly ajar. Emilia can see nothing but darkness through the gap. There is an eerie feeling that something is calling her from inside. The dragon begins to lick its wounds, crying in pain...

"Hello?" Emilia calls through the gap.

There is no reply, except for the howling wind of the storm...

Emilia carefully opens the doors and steps inside.

Emilia steps into the darkness and it engulfs her. After she steps inside the double doors close behind her and she is in complete darkness. Emilia can no longer here the sounds of the storm outside and she can hear nothing, except for what sounds like a growl in the distance...

After a minute, torches light up. Emilia is in a long hallway lined with torches on both sides. The bodies of dead guards ripped apart are everywhere as the walls and ceiling are painted with blood.

She walks down the hallway slowly.

As she walks further and further down the hallway, the feeling of dread begins to engulf her as if all traces of happiness is being sucked out of her.

"Urrrrrggghhh.... help me", cries one of the guard's near her. His voice is desperate and he is barely able to speak. Both of his legs and one of his arms are missing. He slowly crawls up to emilia, dragging his body with his free hand across the floor.

"I can help you die. I can't help you live."

"Nooooo..." His voice has turned into a scream and as he screams his body transforms... his skin appears to be decaying at an alarming rate, going green and revolting with pus protruding from skin legions. The fingers of his free hand grow into sharp knives and the eyes begin to glow red with fire. The body continues to crawl towards Emilia and goes to grab her leg.

Calmly, Emilia takes out her deagle.

"Kasdeya, you disappoint me."

She aims and shoots at the head of the decaying guard.

The body withers and dies, but only to the sounds of more screams as more bodies begin to transform. Countless bodies all over the hallway, even ones without heads undergo the same horrific transformation. The screams are almost deafening...

Emilia keeps walking down the hallway shooting at the bodies as she goes.

She is now three-quarters of the way down the hallway. At the end of the hallway there is another pair of huge double doors. Even though Emilia is shooting the bodies, they appear to be countless, soon they are overwhelming. One of the bodies manages to get close enough to slice a deep gash into Emilia's leg and bodies have started to crawl across the ceiling...

Emilia's leg is already starting to heal up.

She starts running, doing cartwheels and backflips to stop the bodies touching her.

She manages to evade the bodies as they come at her from all directions. She reaches the double doors, the bodies are countless and they have turned into a big mass, as they all struggle to crawl over each other to get to Emilia...

Emilia goes to open the door.

The door opens up into a big cavernous room. The ceiling is very high and there appears to be multiple staircases and doors all over this room leading out into many directions. There are more dead bodies of guards randomly spread out among the floor and there is a table on the far side of the room with things on it, but it is hard to see what is on the desk from Emilia's current distance. The room is mostly dark except for a few small light sources suspended from the ceiling. The sound of another growl can be heard which appears to be much closer, but Emilia can't tell where the sound is coming from.
