Cyan nods "The main fleet is at Feildel, I should be able to requisition a ship" Cyan sighs "The fuhrer is going to have a long talk with me after this mission"

Naru reads out the letter to the others and then folds it and places it in her inside coat pocket. She puts her hand in the safe and feels around to check there is nothing else in there. She then closes the safe and puts the key back in the pocket with the letter.

"Lets go to Feidel then" she says, leading the way back outside.

Cyan nods and follows "I'll drive my car"

"Why don't you come in the bus with us?"

"another vehicle is always handy" Cyan winks "that and I like the minigun"

There was nothing else in the safe besides the letter.

The team walks out of the Seer Queen's bedroom and goes downstairs to the atrium. They are about to leave the mansion through the front door before Mark walks into the atrium from the living room. "Where are you people going?" he says, surprised to see them all leave so suddenly. He still looks unhappy, but appears to be in a better mood than before.

"Fair enough" Naru says to Cyan as she reaches the atrium.

She turns to Mark " We're going to continue on, this war isn't going to fight itself. Are you going to be ok on your own?"

"Hmm yes, I'll be fine. What did you find in the safe?"

"A letter with instructions from the Seer Queen."

"Can I see the letter?"

Naru hands him the letter.

Mark reads the letter for a moment before handing it back to Naru. "Well, I take it that you people are going to go to this island. Will you be going to Fieldel to get a ship there?"

Naru nods.

"Ok. Well, I was actually about to go there myself before you lot turned up. I'm a scientist working for the UDF and I'll be going to Fieldel to continue my work there. Would it be alright if I travel there with you people? I would feel a lot safer going there with all of you, since that Sun Mountain got invaded and everything."

"I don't have an issue with you tagging along, does anybody else have any objections?"

"Ok, well I'll have to pack up my equipment and things that I'm going to bring with me. But, before we go... I see that you lost your arm, I can fit a mechanical arm on for you. I have the finest automail technology that the United Nations has to offer and I'll do it for you for free. How does that sound?"

"That sounds fantastic, thanks for that! Are you sure you don't want any payment at all?"

"Haha, no. I don't need any payment, I'm already a very rich man and now that the Seer Queen is dead, her entire fortune will go to me, including this wonderful house. She's my mother in case you didn't notice... We weren't very close, but it is sad to hear that she is gone. So, keep your money, I don't need it and besides, I can see that you helped her a lot while she was still alive. I have a feeling that you'll need your money anyway and automail is usually very expensive, its certainly not cheap haha... Anyway, all I request from you is that you let me travel with you people to Fieldel.

I can fit a new mechanical arm for you now, I have all of the equipment that I need for it in my lab. It should take a few hours for me to fit it on for you, so it should be done by this evening. We can leave tonight after dinner or tomorrow morning. Either way it doesn't bother me. The rest of you can make yourselves at home while the arm is being fitted, feel free to help yourselves to any food in the kitchen if you are hungry. I don't have anymore cooks or servants here ever since my mother left... the servants were more of a distraction from my work more than anything, but I'm sure you people can make something to eat yourselves.

So, would you like to get started?" He says to Naru.

"Yes please" she says, following him into his lab.

Cyan heads outside, trying to get out of view of everyone

"Ok, follow me." Mark takes Naru into the library. The library is a very big room with a high ceiling with many bookshelves going as far as the eye can see. They walk through the library to the other side of the room. In the middle of the library are many large tables with chairs situated around them. There are a lot of books and papers piled up at one of the tables.

"I've been working here for a while, but now that I've completed most of my research I need to head into Fieldel to start the trial experiments. My lab here is very good, but the experiments that I'll be conducting will be on a much larger scale and Fieldel is the only place that has the technology that I require to conduct the experiments. That is one of the many benefits of working for the UDF, I get access to the United Nation's finest technology. As long as I submit all of my discoveries to the military... Its a small price to pay, for the developments that I will be making. Ah, here we are."

They have walked for about 10 minutes and have now reached the other side of the library. They are facing the wall of the library which is covered by bookshelves. Mark walks up to one of the bookshelves and puts his hand on one of the books pulling it, causing a big clicking noise and the bookshelf to turn out. Opening up to a hidden passageway that goes downstairs. "Some of the stuff that I have been studying here is top secret, so I have to keep my laboratory hidden, for security reasons."

Mark flicks a light switch at the entrance of the passageway, lighting it up. Its a winding staircase, that appears to go deep underground. "Come on, we're almost there." Mark says as he starts walking down the stairs.

Cyan heads out of the front door and is next to his car and the bus. There is no one on the grounds in sight, it appears that the gardener has finished for today.

Cyan pulls out the MEP and tries to call the fuhrer

Naru follows Mark down the stairs.

After a minute the phone starts ringing and Cyan can hear the Fuhrer answering, "Hello."

Mark and Naru go down the winding staircase before reaching a big metal door with a small touch screen on the right hand side. Mark puts his hand on the screen, which scans his fingerprints before confirming it and opening the door. The door opens up into a huge room. There are many tables, file cabinets and desks with computers all over the room. The tables have heaps of many strange machines and things on them and the room is also full of many large strange machines whirring away all over the room. "I shouldn't have to tell you not to touch anything, I wouldn't want you to blow this whole mansion apart," Mark says with a coy smile before walking over to the other side of the laboratory.

"Over here please."

"Yeah that wouldn't be good" says Naru, moving to where Mark is indicating.
