"I'm putting it on now" Jaxsom calls back over his radio.

As his running he reaches inside his shirt and attaches it to his chest.

"Are you getting a signal now?"

Naru leads the way into the centre of the city.

Martin checks the receiver to make sure that he is getting a good signal from Jaxsom as he runs after Naru down a street, going further into the city, away from the storm...

Naru looks around for a secure shelter.

Seeing Naru look around, Martin says to her, "We should move as far away from the storm as possible before we look for a building to hide in from the storm" as he continues to run further into the city, away from the storm...

"We should ask someone if there is an underground part of the city we could take shelter in, it would be the safest place to be with the storm overhead."

Blaze looks around for someone to question...

"Good idea", Martin grabs the nearest person running down the street and asks them, "Hello, we need your help. Is there an underground part of this city somewhere, in which we could take shelter in?"

The signal from Martin's tracking device is patchy, but usable.
The woman he had grabbed shakes her head quickly and keeps running.
The storm floats over them until it encompasses the entire city and mountain.

"Yes, I'm getting your signal fine Jaxsom, good luck," Martin says to Jaxsom over the radio. He then looks at the storm moving over them, "The storm is moving, we need to find cover," Martin says to the rest of the group. Martin looks around for the safest looking building that appears to be structurally sound...

Buildings are being ripped apart as if they were made of paper by the lightning, and the fire behaves as if it is a living entity. There is a small building that has scorch marks on the top, seemingly resistant to the lightning, at least in part.

Martin points at that building, "that building looks to be the safest, we should go in there," Martin runs to the building and attempts to open the front door...

Naru sprints over and helps Martin with the door.

The door opens easily, revealing some chairs and a table, a bookshelf full of books, and some stairs down to a lower level.

Martin goes inside the house and down the stairs...

"Downward stairs are always good" Naru says to herself, running down them.

Blaze follows them into the building and down the stairs also and uses his radio to contact Jaxsom

"Jaxsom, it looks as if we've found somewhere to take shelter, a building with scorch marks on it, it has stairs leading down, hopefully we'll be safe down here."

A blast of lightning creates a huge explosion that throws Emilia into the building and renders her unconscious.

"Damnit"

Blaze stops and goes back for Emilia, picking her up and takes her downstairs with him...

There are barrels of what look like wine, and a dirt floor. There is a small table with four chairs on each side in the middle.

Martin goes down the stairs and sits down on one of the chairs around the table, "well it looks like we stay here and wait"

Blaze sets Emilia down on the floor away from the stairs and table.

He then sits on the floor nearby and takes off his gloves and puts on his other pair, makes a fireball, takes a moment to increase its power, and uses it to dry himself and his gloves.

"A dirt floor isn't very good to lay an unconscious body on, does anyone have anything to cover her with? She may catch hypothermia or something" Martin says to Naru and Blaze as he lights a cigarette...

"Yeah I'll give her my coat"

Having wrapped his coat in fire to dry it out, Blaze puts his coat over Emilia.

"Emi, upstairs were more furniture, including a bookshelf of books, they can provide kindling, and in the case of the books, something to do, would you mind getting them?"

Blaze then moves the fireball closer to Emilia to help dry her off a bit.

"Good thinking" Naru says to Blaze, running up the stairs and fetching books and a wooden chair. She breaks off the legs of the chair and the back rest, arranging them into a teepee shape on the floor. She then pulls out half a dozen pages of a book, scrunching them up individually and putting them in the middle of the wood.

Blaze sends the fireball over to the kindling, creating a fire in a corner of the room away from the barrels of wine and the stairs.
