"So...you were sent to look for us by HQ?"

"Shit. Teleportation you say. Your Blaze and Jaxsom right, you work for Spectrum as well?"

"Yes. You were declared MIA because you've been missing for weeks. You still haven't told us where this is exactly."

Naru tells the two of them everything that has happened since they lost contact with Spectrum HQ

Martin laughs, "Well ****, you didn't have to tell them everything Naru"

"So The Gunmans name is actually Kasdya and he works for this Blood Lord Niac? We had an encounter with Kasdeya it was ... intresting."

"Interesting is an understatement..."

Blaze proceeds to tell them the events that brought them here

"Pfft, might as well Martin. Only they're going to keep asking questions aren't they? Now they know and we can work together - safety in numbers." Naru then turns to the newcomers, saying "You were lucky to get past him alive. So what are the full extent of your powers?"

"I am capable of thermal vision and this..."

Blaze flicks his fingers to summon a fireball and he makes it swirl around him twice before allowing it to disappear.

"Oooh, cool. Hey between the two of us we could pretty much see anything - I have xray vision"

"Wow, that fire power is cool. Yeah, Kasdeya is a **** head, he kept attacking me on the first mission, I'll be happy when this war is over and he's dead, I'll make sure to piss on his corpse. So you guys were sent here to find us, it seemed like you needed more help than us, having to deal with Kasdeya like that. Its good to meet you guys."

Jaxsom rolls his eyes.

"Seeing as i just said through my experience of teleporting and there is this guy floating next to me... I thought it would be obvious. However speaking of my powers..." Jaxsom gets out two crystals and gives them to Martin and Naru "Keep a hold of these a may be able to use them to help you."

"What do they do?"

Blaze looks at Jaxsom and smiles

"Its almost as if they wish us to be demonstrating, perhaps we are the entertainment of this uh party" he says looking around at all the people drinking and eating.

Martin turns the crystal around in his hands to get a good look at it, wondering how much money its worth and why Jaxsom gave it to him

"If you want to entertain them be my guest, Simply put they amplify my powers, also what should i do with this guy?"

Jaxsom points at Lesley.

Martin laughs at the sight of Lesley, "The **** would I know. Maybe this city has a doctor who can help him, otherwise just leave him here, as if I would **** care"

The remaining time before the storm passes, with Lesley going into the care of a hospital after the team discovered he was actually in a coma, and the now-larger team spending their time at the cliff face and at the inn's bar, drinking and getting to know each other. The storm is closer every day, until finally it is boiling and writhing in the sky just before the Mountain. The engineer Bill arrived, with massive artillery machines he set up on the other side of the mountain, the Seer Queen came with her guards and 100 armed men, and Eolande and Wicker set up with their 1000-strong force. The robed men gathered to watch the storm from the entry castle's rooftop, along with the team and their allied leaders. The city was eerily quiet, the storm was rumbling in place next to the mountain.
The air was tense and silent.

"Well fuck"

"What do we do now...? Should I throw a fireball at it?"

"How about i throw you at it?"

"Nah mate. A wise man once told me, Don't feed the troll"

"I don't think that would be the smartest idea Blaze. I don't reckon my water gun is going to be so great in this battle either..."

Martin lights up a cigarette, "Well guys. It was nice knowing ya"

Naru nods to Martin. "Same to you"
