Martin discovers no signals in the area. Naru can't see anything immediately below the dirt.
As Emilia paces the clearing, a familiar person walks out of the jungle beside her, making their way to the center of the clearing. The gunman.

Surprised at what he is seeing, Martin closes his laptop and puts it away. "Well hello again"

Andrew levels his Intervention at the Gunmans head.
"Start speaking mate."

Naru watches him, keeping her weapon slack and not pointed at him. "Hey, d'you know what's going on here?"

"Hello sir"

The gunman cheerfully greets the team.
"Hello all. I think you are looking for something that isn't exactly here, right? Oh, and lower your weapon, Andrew, or it's going through you."

"Yeah that's right, we're looking for the whitedove base here. Are you here to help us?"

Andrew reluctantly lowers his weapon..... Curses under his breath.

"Well, I'm trying to get in as well, so really you are here to help me."
He stands at a certain spot in the clearing and waves at Emilia.
"Step over here please my dear."

Emilia, with no hesitation, walks over to the gunman.

"What do you mean you're trying to get in as well, don't you already have access to the base or are you planning to take over the base from the Koreans, like your people did with the last base"

As Emilia walks over to the gunman, he replies to Martin.
"It's too complicated to explain right now. We control the base, but we don't."
When Emilia reaches him, he takes her hand and a meatl column extends out of the ground from deep beneath. It is an elevator.
"There we go!"

"Your a confusing little fellow."

"Well that's strange", Martin proceeds to press the button to call the elevator and open the door...

The elevator door opens and gunman steps inside.

Naru follows him into the elevator. "This is where the awkward conversations always begin in hospital dramas: in the elevator"

Martin also enters the elevator

Andrew walks into the elevator....

The door closes and it begins to descend.
"This will take a while, folks." the gunman says, leaning back against the elevator wall.

"Can you tell us what's going on here then, if this elevator is going to take a while?" Martin asks the gunman

"Well, no. I can't."
He whistles a happy tune.

"Why not?"

"Leave it, Martin."

"waaake mee upp, wheen septembeeer eends" Andrew pulls his akubra over his face.

"You seriously need to get more sleep before we leave for missions"
