I think spawn has moved.

I noticed the same thing. I have no idea how or why it'd do that. I'll have to look for a way to customise the spawn.

MCEdit should do it.

Holes? I noticed a few cleverly-set traps under the board walk, so watch your step for pressure plates. I walked on one right outside the safe house and got slaughtered, haven't been bothered to fix it yet

No idea. In any case, spawn should be fixed now, and bad mobs have been nerfed.

I'll have a look - I also have a plugin that logs all spawns of things like TNT, bedrock, lava, etc, so I'll see if that's still working.

I can conclude that nobody gave themselves or anyone else adminium since the 29th of July - I'm doing some history searches and whatnot now.

As far as I can tell, no one has given themselves adminium since the 12th of June. I've been inspecting the logs but I really can't see any suspicious behaviour. Plus, my logs prior to today are clogged with a error in one of the plugins, but that has since been rectified.

Well, we found out that it was KiSM. He put the bedrock down. It was near his house, so it was ok.

But from now on, bedrock should NEVER be used.

As for the person who put all the traps, we still don't know. They haven't put any down since Matt cleared it all, so we will keep an eye on it.

re issues happening with 1.8 server

Issues are fixed, but if you're running the 1.9 pre-release, you'll be given an "Outdated Server" warning. 1.8.1 is fine though

its all good.... finished my house and my super secret stash room .....good luck finding it....
