Hmm, I can connect using the laptop's local IP, but not with the internet IP. Unusual. But I don't think I could ever connect with the online thingo. Try it again? I just rebooted the internet connection and reloaded the server.

can you take creeper explosion damage off so the world doesn't get screwed up by creepers, there should be a server.properties thing or a mod

Ok. It should either be creative mode (no monsters) or survival mode.

well in other news i screwed over spawn by pulling creepers a few hours ago
