"Lead the way" says Naru. While walking, she surreptitiously moves her knife into the inside pocket of her coat, hidden from the old man.

He leads Naru into a broken down house, and into a lounge room. He offers her a seat and leaves to put some tea on.

Naru sits down on one of the lounge chairs and waits for the man to come back.

He soon returns and passes a mug to Naru, then he takes a seat and sips his own.

Naru pretends to drink some tea then looks at the man, waiting for him to start talking.

"I can offer you a valuable lead on who killed that man, but first I want you to do something for me."

Naru puts down her tea on the coffee table. "What sort of something?"

"The kind of something that makes experienced whores blush."

"With you, you mean?" asks Naru, keeping her face stone cold.

"Yes." He replies simply.

"I'm not willing to do that" Says Naru, whipping out her water gun, darting to the man and pointing it at his head.

"Tell me what your lead is"

He smiles.
"Going to shoot me? I'm an old man."

"I have morals. Take want you want out of that statement. What do you know about the murder?"

"I'm sorry, my dear, but it was my way or no way."

"So me not doing this physically prevents you from giving me information? How exactly does that work?"

"I will give you the information on my terms."

"Doesn't this town have a brothel?"

"You are much finer than the local whores."

"Right, well thanks for the compliment. I've never been compared to prostitutes in quite that way before. But I'm not selling my body for information. Maybe we could work out another form of payment." She says with finality.

"Nope. That's a shame."

"I really don't like you" says Naru. "And since you won't help me, I'm leaving." She backs out the door and jogs back to the village square.

The town is very quiet, and nobody is around. Not a single sound can be heard.

"Well this is strange" Naru mutters to herself. She heads towards the courthouse for lack of another plan.

It is deserted.

"What the bloody hell..."

Naru walks around the town. She's hungry, so she enters a house and has a look in the kitchen for some food.
