Martin quickly grabs the rope ladder and starts climbing...

Naru and the others begin climbing the rope ladder.

Just as the last person grabs on to the ladder, the helipad falls beneath them, smashing into the rock hard ice and being crushed.

"That was convenient timing"

Martin stops for a second because of what Naru just said to look at the view below him and to make sure that everyone had gotten on to the rope ladder in time, "How is that convenient, we almost died, that was too close" before continuing his climb up the rope ladder...

The rope ladder is hoisted up into the helicopter. As it flies away from White Dove, you can see most of it being crushed in the shifting ice plates. The Korean Pilot fills you in on what's happening.
"You guys sure cut it close, don't you? We are one hour short of the leaving time!"
He looks back from his seat.
"You look a sorry sort too!"
The team really looks at themselves, they have torn clothing, dried blood and deep bags under their eyes.
"You look as if you didn't sleep the whole time you were there!"

Martin looks at the pilot, slightly annoyed, "Just get us back to base", before finishing his cigarette and pulling out another...

The helicopter flies off into the distance, heading for the cargo ship.
The team makes the journey back to Spectrum safely, and clean themselves up before being debriefed by Mr Hanson.
The team sits in the briefing room and Mr Hanson approaches the podium.
"Welcome back, failures."

Martin is pissed off, "FAILURES!!?? We did the best we could, Its not our fault that the base sunk below the ice, we're lucky to be alive, blame the Koreans, who built the base and can't protect it properly... Look, I don't care, just give me the money"

"Failures?"

Emilia is spinning a syringe between her fingers.

"Name what you have accomplished on this mission. Please do."

Martin looks over to Emilia concerned, "Hey emilia, wait, don't do anything drastic, at least not until we get paid"

"Who says I am? I'm just playing. It has nothing in it"

She pushes the plunger.

"See?"

She looks at Hanson. "We found out quite a bit about the base"

Mr Hanson looks at Emilia.
"Do enlighten me."

"Well we made sure that no terrorist organisation can take over that base again, plus I found out while interrogating one of the guards there that there is actually another Whitedove base in Africa or Paraguay, if we go to that other base we may be able to get some better answers as to what was happening on the Antarctica base, but that's going to cost you extra"

Mr Hanson's lip twitch into a mocking smile.
"We already knew about the other White Dove facility in Africa."

"Oh ok then, good for you. So, where's the money?"

"How about the zombie corpses?"

"The zombie what?"

"What about them? We didn't find out any useful information about them, unless you guys did while I was separated from the rest of you. Anyway, they were probably just bi-products of whatever sick experiments that they were doing at that facility"

Mr Hanson rubs his eyes.
"The point of a debrief is to gather all information and try to make sense of it."

"Hey, you just told us to take over the base, not to go on some silly reconnaissance mission to collect information"

"Hanson, this is what happened..."

Emilia tells him everything they saw, including the cloaked man and the gunman.

After Emilia finishes telling the story, Martin fills in the details and explains what happened while he was separated from the rest of the group, putting specific detail on the kills that he had made...

"Well now that IS interesting."
He thinks for a moment.
"We sent in an emergency recovery team just after you were evacuated. The original entry room was intact, and they said it was a locker room, not full of corpses. The rest of the facility had been destroyed."
