The gunman seems to have not noticed Martin or Naru speaking. He is looking at Emilia.
"Anything you want to talk about?" he asks casually.

"Hhhmmm. Yes. What are you planning on doing?"

"I was going to watch the snow for a bit longer, then go meet my colleague. What about you?"
He smiles politely.

"Can I join you?"

"You would be most welcome. However, it's at my colleagues request that you didn't, so I must politely decline."

"And since when have you given a **** about what other people have thought?"

He laughs charmingly.
"You claim to know me well enough to know that do you?"

"Of course not, but I guess he is very important to you then."

"Our partnership is only a means to an end, my dear."

"end?"

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

"Well, it means that this is coming to an end. It's that simple."
He chuckles a bit.
"Speaking of which, I only have a few more minutes, so if there's anything you want to say, now's the time."

"Do you plan on killing this guy?"

"Well, that depends on what you are thinking of doing."

"Not killing you, for a start."

"Really? Your friends seem quite willing to kill me."

"Only if you give us reason to. We would really like to avoid as much bloodshed as possible to be honest."

"Why are you pretending they aren't here?"

"I prefer talking to you."

"If you let me go, we can talk about this like civil human beings and forget what's happened in the past"

"Why do you like talking to me?"

"Because you were changed too. Don't expect me to explain. As for your friends offer, you have piqued my interest with this offer of a truce. Be warned I will not hesitate to kill all of you should you betray my trust."
