I see Fade likes Disturbia. I love that movie too.

So Fade, why is Disturbia one of your favourite movies of all time?

Shia LeBeouf, or however you spell it, is one of my favorite actors because of transformers. This movie just seems like an example on how to do a cliched horror movie, and how to do it good.

What makes Disturbia a cliched horror movie?

The obvious murderer, the lack of a twist ending, and the fact nobody believes him when he says the guy is a murderer.

I think it actually did have a twist ending.
The movie was made to also convince the audience and not just the main character that there was nothing wrong. It was only in the last 20 mins when are assumption is turned on its head.

We assume through the whole movie that something is going to jump out and get us. When it doesn't, then the audience relaxes. It is when the audience relaxes, it makes the horror more scary. This is why they put in that whole "love" story thing. The teenage guys goggle.

Plus that chick is really hot and gets some quality time in her bikini =D

I guess that is why you like Transformers also.

I think that is why a lot of people went to see Disturbia. It showed a lot of the girl in the trailers.

My favourite character is actually the Asian guy. He is so funny trying to scare people.

Naw, I liked transformers for the giant freakin robots and the explosions.
That reminds me of a woman talking on the radio when I was on a bus back from the cinemas after seeing transformers 2. She said that she thought the movie was about America showing what it can do and boasting about its military power. I was like "Did she miss the part about the giant robots?" and everyone on the bus laughed. I don't know how she could possibly think that, what with the military being all but useless against the robots.

Disturbia is an awesome movie, great thriller. Its good, because its one of those movies that doesn't have to rely on blood and guts to scare you, it actually uses great film techniques, plus Shia LeBeouf is a great actor, I've enjoyed every movie that I've seen him in so far. And I have to agree with you emilia, the asian guy is my favourite character in the movie as well. Its good because he kept making a joke of everything, bringing light on the whole situation.
