The movie Speed has so many fails in it, yet it is so awesome. Why is that?

I'll start.

"We have to take a sharp turn"
"The bus will tip over!"
"Yes! The bus will tip over! Everyone move to this side of the bus!"

So they all move to the other side to stop the bus tipping. Would that be honestly possible?

No I don't think it is possible, it may have kept the bus up for a few seconds, but it should've fell over in any case. It couldn't have possibly stayed up for that long around the corner at the speed that it was going.

The biggest fail would have to be the jump across the bridge, that is obviously impossible and they make it anyway and the way that the jump is filmed is laughable, but its a 90's film so understandable.

The movie is still awesome because it has great actors and a great atmosphere. The writers did a really good job at writing the plot for that movie even though it was as simple as being about a bomb on a bus and the movie always kept you on the edge of your seat. This movie is a fine example of the fact that a movie doesn't have to be realistic to be good.
