Currently I'm on a film-watching binge & I was hoping that Spectrum could tell me their favorite Anime films so I can go watch them.

My favorite Anime film would be My Neighbor Totoro, I heard about it one day & decided to watch it on Veoh, little did I know this film was as magical & whimsical as I think of it now. It was directed by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki who was responsible for such films as Spirited Away & more recently Ponyo & the film was entirely hand-drawn which makes the animated feature that much more pure. The film itself, It's magical beyond belief & cutesy to the point where you'll find yourself smiling at it's charming, innocent scenes uncontrollably. This isn't a review, but more so a reason you should watch My Neighbor Totoro.

Well, i know some, but not much.
You may enjoy too "Grave of the Fireflies" a very sad anime and a amazing piece of work. I already saw a lot of people crying during this movie.
If you like a cyber-punk stuff you have to watch "Ghost in the Shell", a lot of acting and still a lot of "reflections".

Well, for now those two are only good ones in my mind. Later i am pretty sure i can remember more. =o

I swear i saw My Neighbor Totoro in my Italian class! It was pretty good I agree.

As far as anime movies go, I've only really watched the naruto and bleach moves. All of them decent to watch if you are into Shinobi (ninjas) and Shinigami (death gods) respectively.

Grave of the Fireflies, a Studio Ghibli production not as famous as it's Hayao Miyazaki directed brothers, I have been longing to see that film for quite some time now as well as other Studio Ghibli films.

I'll try & find a copy on some Anime websites I heard about on the other threads.

From the current reception from the Spectrum members, It's very good. You should definitely check it out, Pikachu. I think you can easily find it online, I watched it for the first time on Veoh.

I have Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbour Totoro all on DVD, yes they are all Studio Ghibli movies and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, but thats just cause they are the best, and they totally are!

I will check with my brother, i guess he have it saved somewhere. =o

Yes I have seen My Neighbor Totoro and loved it I think it was the first studio ghibli movies I watched.

Suggestions? ANY studio ghibli movie. Including My Neighbor Totoro. They are all quality and I promise you that you will remember most of them very well. The Ghost in the Shell movies are AWESOME but they are like the matrix times a hundred in confusingness so you REALLY gotta pay attention. If you don't like confusing stuff, you won't like it.
