How can you make friends these days?

I don't really ever aim to make friends as I already have enough lol, friendships just tend to happen on their own for me now haha. But I guess the main things are is be polite and assertive and don't act like an idiot, if you do those things friendships tend to happen on their own unless the other person is an idiot in which case don't bother with them haha.

Best way to make friends is to act yourself. If they like you and want to catch up more, then thats +1 friend to the list.

Alternatively if you want to look like you have a lot of friends, go on facebook and make it your quest to add EVERYONE! because we all know that when you die, whoever has the most facebook friends wins.

Lol yes thanks for the advice guys, and I don't think a dating website will be a good idea since I'm sure everyone will interpret "friends" for something else lol, I think I'll just have to see if I can make friends at a new job, I just get bored a lot and would like someone to hang with
