I chose pleased, because I am pleased with myself that I got another part of my assignment done.

I chose down because I'm a mixture of mental exhaustion and being overwhelmed by the amount of crap I need to plan and do in the next few days and weeks.

And now I've just found out I'm going to be penalised for the assignment I handed in today for being over the word limit. This is the first time I have ever gone over a word limit in my life, and only now, for this particular paper do they decide that we'll get marked down for it. Bloody ****.

How much were you over the limit?

100 words over the +10% limit., so 1700 words. We only had 1500 words to fit in an entire qualitative research report, including ten articles in the introduction which were meant to be looked at critically. I write consicly, I never have troubles with exceeding word limits until this assignment. There was just not enough space to fit in everything with proper depth. As it was I had to cut out loads of relevant and interesting information.

That is so stupid. I am finding the same difficulty for my assignment.

How much are you going to get penalised?

The lecturer didn't say. She just said "I'll be watching for people who have gone too much over the limit".

And no, the word limit is not in the marking key.

Well that's just stupid.

Yeah. It surprised me, because I really like that lecturer, she's usually really fair *shrug*

I am cheerful, because I just finished all the sections of my assignment. Time to put it together. YAY!

I am superior. Nuff said.

I am excellent, because I got my assignment done. Yay!

I'm feeling positive because I got a good swag of my assignment done and as of Monday I am no longer a child, in every sense of the word. Bring on adulthood!

I reckon you should put in exhausted too, it takes tiredness to another level.
