Mijy shifts his coat behind his deagles at his side and slides the katana on his back, an inch out of its sheath.

The cloaked man looks directly into Mijy's eyes for a moment and for that moment Mijy can feel a raw destructive power that he has never experienced before.

"You and I are not that different," he says with the same evil smile, "The end is coming... and I want you to see it. Turn around now and leave this area... or I will slaughter every last one of your men." And with that he steps back through the trees and disappears.

Mijy stands there for a second and waits, seeing if the man will return. After 3 seconds he keys his radio, "I want everyone to retreat to the drop zone and wait there. We have a spec ops unknown assailant who is extreemly dangerous. I will proceed ahead and complete the mission."

"Sir, did I hear you right? Do you want us all to retreat back to the drop zone and leave you behind?"

He turns around and looks at his two remaining men. "You two, are coming with me. Its too dangerous for the rest of the group and we need to keep our eyes watching over us safe."

Mijy turns around and surveys the area in front of him. "I have a feeling, that man isn't quite as human as I would like him to be."

The two men who have rejoined Mijy nod to his order and the rest of the team fall back to the drop zone.

Mijy proceeds towards the target destination with extreme caution.

The 2 others follow Mijy through the jungle, keeping their eyes peeled. They eventually reach a clearing in the jungle, in it are about 30 African bodies laying across the ground in the same gory fashion that Mijy saw before in addition to a few flaming vehicles. The cloaked man is nowhere in sight.

"Spread out and search for any intel or important items." he whispers to his men.

As they proceed to search the area, they discover that this is indeed the African militia that Mr Hanson told Mijy about during the briefing. They however find nothing of interest as most of the bodies are torn apart and the vehicles are a flaming wreck.

Mijy's satellite phone starts to ring. It must be Spectrum as they are the only ones who have this number...

He answers it.

"Did I hear correctly that you ordered your entire team back!" Its Mr Hanson and he sounds pissed off.

"Yes sir, I did. I just came across an enemy that is far more powerful than they can handle."

He glances at his two men.

"I will complete this mission with the two men I have by my side and if required, call for the extra men as back up. The three of us have enough explosives to level the builds. I believe that this is our best plan of attack."

"I don't give a **** what you have to deal with there, I gave you that team to help you and you will use them. Those men are well trained. Call them back and secure the perimeter, the second infiltration team are on the way to you as we speak and by the time they land I expect that area secure. We pay you to follow orders, now you do what I say or you can see this as your permanent termination," the phone hangs up.

He reaches for his radio but lingers.

He sighs. "I really dont think this is a good idea..." he says to the two men next to him.

Mijy flicks on his radio, "All men, swap to second secure channel."

He waits a few seconds before continuing, "Delta unit is to check on Charlie's last known location. Once located, I want you to radio in your findings then hold."
"Bravo unit, move into the original designated spot last advised asap."
"Echo hold position and keep your eyes on the lookout."
"Alpha has a man down, we will also hold position and wait for the green light. Move out!"

He releases the button and sighs. "I think all of these men are going to die before this is finished. We need to keep moving forwards and get into position."

"Yes sir," they all say over the radio.

All of the teams follow Mijy's orders, having no contact with the cloaked man or anybody else. Delta finds the Alpha team that was lost contact with and say over the radio. "We found them sir... and it doesn't look pretty, their bodies are ripped a part, no one survived," the man speaking on the radio sounds a bit worried, "What are your orders sir?"

The clearing that Mijy and his 2 other men are in is still clear of the cloaked man.

Mijy looks at his watch.
"OK men, we now have less than a hour to get into position. We need to move in and spread out as we go. Eliminate any hostiles with minimal noise. Combat knifes and silenced pistols where possible." He pauses and looks behind him.

"We want to be in a complete circle in a 50m radius by the time we reach the target. Once reached, I want Echo to come and re-join the group."

The team follows Mijy's orders. After half a hour the clearing is fully secured with the team surrounding area in a complete circle with a 50m radius. While they wait for the second infiltration team to arrive they have no contact with the cloaked man or any other enemies.

Not long later a helicopter arrives carrying the second infiltration team, they drop from the helicopter via cable and walk up to one of Mijy's men on the other side of the clearing. Mijy can recognise one of the men to be Jaxsom, a man that he has worked with in the past on other missions, he can't recognise the other 2 members of the team though. They have a short conversation before they take the elevator down into the base below.

The 24hrs pass by quickly with nothing eventful happening. Mijy and his team continue to guard and keep the area secure by having regular patrols of the area and building a small camp. The next day is very hot, Mijy and the team can feel the sweltering heat from the sun coming down on them. The 24hr mark arrives and Mijy receives no contact from the second infiltration team and is unable to receive any signal from them, it seems that they were wiped away from the Earth...

Mijy now has the go ahead from headquarters to infiltrate the base.

The metal column which is the elevator is fully extended out of the ground, ready to go down...

Mijy looks at his watch as it beeps on the hour mark. "Thats 24 hours up, time to see whats in there."

The 15 men left on Mijy's team gather around by the elevator, checking their weapons and getting ready to go in, waiting on Mijy's orders.

The 4 men who had sniper rifles disassemble the weapons, putting them away and pull out some combat shotguns.

"I want Delta to stay topside. I dont want any assholes coming in at us from behind. Set up a defensive perimeter and let us know if anything happens. Bravo and Echo, you are with me."

"Yes sir," the four men from Delta stay topside while the other 11 men on Mijy's team step into the elevator with Mijy. Once they have all stepped into the elevator, the doors close and it begins its long descent.

The elevator descends for about 10 minutes and then slows to a halt, causing the doors to slide silently open. Beyond them is a hallway with windows on either side. At the end there is a large metal door, already open.

Mijy looks down the hall without moving. He tosses a unused bullet towards the end to see if there is any motion sensors/ traps.

There is no response, all that Mijy can hear is the whirring of machines in the distance.

A lot of his men are on edge, as if they are expecting something bad to happen real soon.

"OK, coast seems clear", he steps fowards and walks towards the open set of doors picking the bullet up as he goes.
