I don't plan on getting on the Hardcore server for quite awhile. Just want to get a grasp of the basics and check out Spectrum City this week. Although I don't think I am able to connect to the city server, unless i'm completely misunderstanding the address.

I have been having issues connecting sometimes too, I found going into direct connect and copy pasting the ip with port number works when I can't connect normally.

That's odd. What error do you get when you can't connect?

Try logging in to the hardcore server just for a second to see if you can connect. Also I know it's silly but double check the ip and port. And try what trev said about using direct connect.

I don't understand why that would work when the saved server settings won't connect you. You're accessing the exact same address o.0

Was able to get into the hardcore server just fine. I've tried direct connect for Spectrum city and it's the same error message I just posted.

Alright I'll have to check that out this afternoon. I'll see what the server console says as to why you couldn't connect.

Nastard try loggin in changing the upper or lower case letters of your login, Minecraft itself does not check upper or lower case, but whitelists do.

There shouldn't be a whitelist activated on the spectrum city. But that's something I was going to check today.

My login is my e-mail and it's all lowercase.

What is the exact IP for Spectrum City? I've just been copy and pasting from the server details post on the Spectrum City forum.

Well so far I am really liking this game. Spectrum City looks magnificent. Beginning to get the hang of crafting simple items in single player. Work bench, wooden swords and pick axes. Look forward to continue my learning process with the game tomorrow. With all the possibilities the game has to offer I feel my money has been well spent. Hope to see all of you in game soon.

Cool man, I am excited for you, there is so much more to discover! Let me give you a nugget of advice, do not EVER dig straight down, or straight up. There is nothing worse than digging down right into a huge pit or lava pool and losing your loot.

Will definitely keep that in mind. The first thing I did was dig straight down in single player. Thankfully it was only a couple of blocks and I thought the better of continuing to do so.
