minecarts that automatically connect to each other when you place them on the track close enough so that you can make a "train" with a steam powered cart at the front

would also like it if you could right click the steam powered cart to view it like a furnace so that you can actually place an entire stack inside and visibly see it, would also be good if it had 3 "furnaces" in it so that you can set speed with it based on how many you use, because right now they're slow when pushing something, you need more than 1 to get better speed, which would be impractical with this "train".

Fish, dogs (are coming soon) and cats. Rain, snow, different coloured clouds (dark ones can rain). Cloud pathing around builds (instead of floating through them).

WAVES!!! i want to see the water move! or a tide. so the water can rise and fall.

For someone who hates the sound of running water

Tides would make a lot of sense. They should definitely have that.

I'm waiting for slime balls to be actually used for something atm.. at which point i will go back in to my single player game and fight the uber slime that is currently directly in front of me. The battle will be glorious and there will be slime cake afterwards.

I would like there to be more uses for red spice too.
