I am excited, but I wish I wasn't so involved with the fandom. I would have liked to be surprised and be able to say "OMG it's River!" without knowing in advance. Spoilers.

I really enjoyed Blink, the first Weeping Angels episode. There was never any risk of death (not really) but it was done is a way that freaked me out when I first watched it. I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of the episode. And then of course the Doctor's last words about statues in general. I think a lot of kids would have had nightmares after watching that episode lol.

I know he's not coming back this season (so far as I know anyway), but I'd love for Captain Jack to come back to Doctor Who. I reckon he needs some time with the Doctor to get through what happened at the end of the last Torchwood season. Plus he's just awesome. He's old (for me anyway) but he's sexy and hilarious. Apart from the Doctor himself, he's my favourite DW character.

HAHA YESSSS I KNEW ITTT! During the short at the end of ep 3 I thought HOLY **** THAT'S THE CHICK FROM THE LIBRARY, RIVER!! I suppose I'm just too good.

And yeah, Blink was brilliant. My favourite ep of the whole new series. I don't think Jack will come back but, he was Russell's pet character, in the same way that the Angels are Steven's pet monster (which is why they're returning now he's head writer). I mean, Jack may come back for a few eps here and there, but nothing too substantial. I'd like him to come back too Smile

My fave ep of the new series would be that two parter where that massive demon is chained in an asteroid right next to a black hole. The philosophical ramifications are awesome.

I can't pick a favourite episode. There are too many great ones. I do love Waters of Mars, Blink, The End of The World, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, Partners in Crime, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.

As for classic who, I've only seen two stories, but I thoroughly enjoyed The Sontaran Experiment with Tom Baker's Doctor.

For me, it's pretty much all of Steven Moffat's stuff, and a few of the others - the Doomsday story, Fires of Pompeii (classic, lame sci-fi Doctor right there), and heaps more that I can't remember because I lost my whole videos folder recently Sad

And the classic stuff is good, but hard to get a hold of. Some of the episodes have even been lost completely. Tom Baker is my second favourite, after Tennant, but I'm expecting Matt to work his way up as well Smile

Libraries are good for Old Who. If you want to buy the DVDs though, Amazon and any ABC shop have a lot. Well of course Amazon has all of them in existence lol.

Yeah, but they are both so expensive Razz Amazon is because the shipping is wayyy too much, and the ABC shop is always about twice as much as everywhere else, I've found Razz
