I just read everything in this section because I'm a bit like that and didn't want to necro/double post anything. Enjoy one of many hypothetical situations I've gone over in my spare time (while trying to sleep).

How do people think if they have no language to structure their thoughts?

Basically discuss what you think their thoughts would consist of and give reasons why you think that.

Say they can read. They can read English but the way they think about it would be different to us.

If they are blind and deaf, then they would know things by the hand touch language.

The imagination is good at filling things in that aren't fully understood.

I think that everyone has a language to some extent, even animals have ways of communicating with each other so i think that the bigger issue is understanding people with different language and customs!

They'd base their thoughts off whatever mechanism they currently use to differentiate everyday life.

Now this answer I like a lot.

My own was a bit speculative in comparison.

"With direct references to recorded experiences and pure emotion."

Back up that train of thought I figured this statement was pretty valid:

"Structured thought is impossible without a scaffolding like language."

Thought can still be structured without language however, it'll just be unrefined in comparison
