Getting Known
well today i was thinking ( i have resently moved to perth ) what if we put together a bit of a socal club?
like perhaps on a sunday and some of the members can get together and play some sports games down at a park, or even a lan night, which is we charge $10 to come, we can use the money to have like a free BBQ night every so often to get new members!, and buy new equipment for our servers ect. you know try and get some more love into this foram, and also get us off our asses and get out and have more fun, cause talking to a forum is fun, but actually getting up and haveing a yell at some one is even more fun Very Happy

i dont know any ideas or suggestions? yes no maybe?

A LAN party would generally just be people all bringing their computers and hooking them up, but then you can have people joining from outside of that set up

Note for you guys.
Programs such as Hamachi allow for "LAN" connections, worldwide, but are ineffective without semi decent UL speeds

It's not the greatest, but it's workable if you put in the effort.
I just find it simpler to host through my PC and let others join remotely, though it's inefficient.
Flaws with Hamachi are increased network risks etc
