this is like lord of the rings, but just more so XD
It's a fantasy series with swords and monsters, but has a very complex plot with over 400 characters, an extremely complex 'magic' system, and deep characters with very noticable personal developement spanning the (so far) 12 book series. Frankly, it rawkz mi jawkz.
Anyone else read it?
I'm on the latest book about 3 quarters in and LOVING it.

It's the ability to dive completely into another world and escape your own. The story telling is usually brilliant too, and getting away from physics is always fun.

I didnt realise they had brought out #12. After the original author died, it made it a bit hard for them to continue. I was reading this series a while ago, but i stopped once i got to book 4 since i had other things to read (a Mathew Reilly book lol) but I've never got back into it. But it is really good. Although i found myself re reading chapters because i was reading it so fast i would miss key things.

Once i finish reading my Ian Irvine books, im planning on finishing this set too Razz

Double Century
TL;DR

This, is the one series I've ever gotten excited over.
The death of the author genuinely made me sad, but I was happy to hear he gave 6-8k pages of notes alone, on how to finish it.
Then happier to hear his wife chose a decent writer to complete it.

Double Century
Coming back over a year later to say.
Final book is out, I'm in the process of reading it, though the first 400 pages have been amazing.

Ok so, I finished The wheel of time.
Ages may come and pass, but these books shall forever be appreciated by me.
