Some guys were talking about this on OWS this morning.

Which is better in terms on multiplayer: GoldenEye 64 or GoldenEye: Source?

Personally, I never played much GE64 multiplayer, because I only had 2 controllers and my brother wasn't into it. I didn't have any friends who played it either.

So when I saw GES, I was like, this looks awesome!

And I love it...and it isn't even completed yet.

I want to play GE64 with 4 people. Fun!

I think GE:S is much better for multiplayer such as for one the mouse being able to aim better. In GE64 it was a lot more difficult to aim. But GE:S is a the best period and cant wait too play in B:4

I like the sense of community in GES and the fact you can have more than 4 people playing ^^

GES is a good recreation of GE64 and alot of fun. But i still feel GE64 was the better game. I played GE64 for hundreds of hours, both SP and MP. It's still pretty hard to compare the games in you look at the amount of fun had playing them. I'm having more fun with GES than i could have today with 64, even with 4 players. That was before beta4 though. Beta4 has brought a lot of changes to maps, and a few weapon sounds that i don't particularly like. (Though i know the sounds/music can be changed)
