The same thing can happen in food courts where you order your food and stand to the side and wait (assuming they dont give you a number for your food). And when someone doesnt react straight away, just say yeah thats mine - get the food and walk away.

I cant say ive tried either but still both ideas for idiots.

I don't think I've ever seen any of the fast food burger places around my area with multiple windows like that. They all only have one window.
