Keeping in mind I'm having a great time in Europe, these are...

The Things I Miss About Perth in no particular order

Time and space to myself
Martin
Friends
Deep blue sky
My dog
Warmth
Not having to put layers and layers of clothing just to go outside
Greenery - everything is either hibernating (aka: dead looking) or white
Knowing where everything is and the independence that comes with it
Knowing the local currency
Being able to understand my surroundings because they're in English
Being able to listen in to other people's conversations and jump in halfway through (again because they're in English)

The last one would drive me nuts.

I wouldn't care about the last one, understanding what other people are saying doesn't bother me, if somebody had something to say to me directly I'm sure they would tell me in my own language haha.

But then again, I think I'm just used to it because there have been many times where I have been around family who are talking in French or Italian and I have no idea wtf they are going on about.

I don't mind it too much, but it does tend to get on my nerves after a while. There is only so many times you can ask the two people who can translate Dutch to English "What is going on, what did they say?" before you start annoying those two people to death lol. Especially because a lot of the time it doesn't concern myself. The amount of Dutch I can understand is increasing the more I am exposed to it though.

Then don't ask them what they said lmao
