I am not even half way into the book and basically it is a life lesson for anyone that reads it, even though it is a fiction.

A List of Things You Should Never Do In A Relationship or In Life

1. Never have a one night stand with a student.

2. Never have a one night stand with a student when you are one month into your engagement.

3. Do not pretend that the one night stand never happened and wait until 17 years later to tell your wife that you have potential daughter from said relationship.

4. Do not try to cover up the truth of the story. Saying the one night stand was with a barmaid then going to say it was a student is a big no no.

5. Do not say that you will keep your wife in the loop and then start sending emails to your "daughter" without her knowing.

6. Do not name your child's middle name the same as your fling's name. You will get things flying at your head.



This is pretty messed up.

Pretty much, but the story is pretty much snowballing from all of his crap.

Is it really? If you sleep with someone and ended up having a child you didn't know about, I think your wife would go nuts, regardless if it were a student or not.

The fact that he lied made it 10x worse and a lot of guys don't understand that.
The whole, "I was just trying to protect you" is bs. Lying is worse that honesty.

Yeah I realise that, that it happened to be a student is technically of little relevance, by worst case scenario, I just meant that each and everyone one of the things you listen just seem to make the situation worse and worse. Guess maybe worst case scenario wasn't necessarily the best way to put it, but from the sound of things this guy couldn't be making the situation much worse if he tried. Though each and every additional snowball layer is indeed making it worse.

It doesn't matter what it is, how small or how big it is, when you lie about it, it makes it so much worse than it ever could have been.

Lieing is alright imo, if you keep it as a lie. If you are going to end up telling them later on then you are just delaying the inevitable and probably making it worse, it really depends on if you are a good liar.

Remember

Ignorance can be bliss

What you don't know can't hurt you

Yeah, maybe if you don't have a conscience.

7. Do not keep a class photo of her up in your house

There was a guy that I heard about once, he was married and identified as being heterosexual. But he really enjoyed having anonymous sex with other men, and didn't see it as cheating on his wife.

What do you reckon?

That guy is messed up and completely selfish.

I think his notions of what constitutes as cheating are messed up. Plus there's the whole STIs thing - he was having unprotected sex with randoms and not telling his wife.

I don't believe he is heterosexual either.

Unless he is afraid of being labelled as a bisexual.

So these are the things that you shouldn't do as an infidel... good list, gotta remember these.

Everything in that list is cheating except for flirting and spending time alone with someone you're attracted to, who isn't your partner, as long as you are doing none of the other things while you are spending time with them.

usually, can be if over done, but i mean i give emi a hug as more or less a means of saying hello or goodbye, this isn't cheating <_<
