hey just wondering what side scroller is out there for the pc.. anything from stuff similar to metal slug, r-type, raiden will be great =D

i have found a few but nothing that is 21st century good =/

Contra 4 is a really good game, It is currently available for the Nintendo DS or if you only own a Nintendo Wii connect to the Wii Shop Channel and redeem some points then get Contra: ReBirth, I hear that game is also good with the Classic Controller, I don't really know any more good Side-scrolling shooters but i know Contra is a good series

yeh i played contra on my cousin ds was fun.. but would love something for the pc.

Mega Man games are always my favorite side-scrolling shooters. Mega Man X as well.
