As always, I would love to hear Pearly's opinion, my music connoisseur and if he hasn't done so, do a review *nudge, nudge*
I love Queens of the Stone Age. Ok, I have only heard on of their albums, but it was awesome.
Their most recent one is Eva Vulgaris (very odd name, I know)
The difference between them and other rock bands is that it has this laid back/lounge feel. So you could be hanging around with friends and have this playing in the background, or you could get up and pretend you are playing air guitar (or in my case, air drumming)
Speaking about drumming, the beats in Eva Vulgaris are very well done. Go drum solos, go. The best example of this (and my favourite song) is Misfit Love. A very long intro, but there is just something so appealing about it.
If you haven't heard their songs, check it out. If you are not a hard rock kind of person, I suggest you listen to "In My Head" first. It isn't so rough. The lyrics are awesome to sing to. And it is a rock love song. It will appeal to people with different music tastes. Catchy. And if you played Need for Speed: Underground 2, it will bring back awesome memories.
We love Patchy the Pirate. He is my complete opposite.
