The only exit is the stairs at the end of the room, and there are no papers or pens.

"Shit, maybe we'll find some paper and a pen somewhere else and then you can tell me what that grid in the computer screens mean", Martin says to the tongueless man "Anyway, lets go". Martin heads towards the stairs and takes the stairs to the next floor...

As Martin climbs the stairs, two mean appear at the top, brandishing MP5's. They don't look like they're in the mood to talk.

"Shit, get down" Martin whispers to the tongueless man behind him as he bends down and hides against the wall, hoping that the 2 guards haven't seen them yet, holding his revolver ready in case they start shooting or show any sign of noticing them...

The two guards had been talking to each other as they approached the stairs so they didn't see Martin duck behind the wall. They descended the stairs, MP5's held loosely in their hands and hanging on their straps.

"That was close, we need to move fast, those guards are probably going down to check on us and when they see that we're not down there and the dead guard that I killed earlier, they'll be coming back for us" Martin says to the tongueless man as he peeks around the corner to see what is ahead of them...

Unfortunately, martin peeks at the wrong moment, and one of the guards see's him.
The guard opens his mouth to speak but was so shocked by Martins presence he only makes a grunting sound. The other guard looks at him curiously.

"Shit, I shouldn't have done that", Martin thinks to himself, he then quickly holds the small knife in his hand, feeling its weight and judging the distance he throws the knife, aiming at the head of the guard who grunted. He then gets back behind wall readying his revolver...

The guard who saw Martins head snapped back as the knife lodged itself in his skull. He fell backwards and collapsed on the stairs.
The other guard turned quickly in the direction the knife had been thrown from. Martin had ducked behind cover quickly enough, but the man with no tongue had stepped out from behind the wall to see what was happening. The guard loosed 3 bullets at him in a quick burst. The tongueless man took two to his chest as stumbled backwards from the force of the bullets. He then fell to the floor and was dead before he hit the ground.

"Shit, No", Martin thinks to himself, enraged that the tongueless man died. He then stays behind the wall and waits to see what the guard will do next with the revolver ready in his hand, as the guard probably doesn't know that Martin is down there as he would think that the tongueless man would've thrown the knife, Martin thinks he has the element of surprise.

The guard whispers into a radio and bends to inspect his comrade. He appears unaware of martins presence.

Martin continues waiting to see what the guard does next...

The guard mutters something else into his radio and stands up, walking down the rest of the stairs to inspect the man with no tongues body.

As the guard inspects the tongueless man's body Martin aims and fires his revolver at both knees of the guard in an attempt to disable his legs, he then goes to grab the guard from behind, wrapping his arm around the guard's neck to almost suffocate him. As Martin attempts to do this, he pulls the guard back towards the wall and digs his revolver into the side of his head...

Both bullets hit their marks and shatter his kneecaps. The guard will never be able to walk properly again. He passes out from the intense pain and falls forward over the tongueless man's corpse.

Kicking the guard's M5 aside, Martin flips over his body onto his back, to see if he is still unconscious...

As blood spurts out from his destroyed legs, the man mumbles begs for mercy and cries. He is semi-conscious, the pain is extreme.

Martin rips the tongueless man's shirt and uses the fabric to wrap around the guard's destroyed knees to create a makeshift bandage to stop the bleeding and stem the pain. He then grabs the guard's head by the hair and drags him to the wall sitting him up against the wall, not yet saying a word. Martin then pockets his revolver and picks up the guard's M5 and takes his radio, keeping the radio on and listening for any communications on the frequency that the radio is tuned to. After Martin turns on the radio he then proceeds to inspect the dead body of the tongueless man for anything of use or interest and then inspecting the pockets of the guard sitting up against the wall...

Nothing of interest is found in the tongueless man's pockets or anywhere else on his person. In the guards pockets, Martin finds an ID card and $23.
On the radio, a man starts talking, but in a different language.

Martin walks over to the guard sitting at the wall and kneels down in front of him, holding the M5, "Now you listen very carefully to me, I'm going to ask you some questions and you better answer me truefully, otherwise your going to wish you are dead by the time that I'm finished with you, do you understand me?"

The guard whimpers in response and resumes crying.

"Ok, now that we understand each other your going to tell me who you people are and what's going on here"

The man winces in pain and chokes out an answer.
"This...this isn't what they told you...you're all ****...you aren't breaking out you're walking in! You...oh sweet jesus...you really have no...ugh... no clue, do you?"
He begins to cough up blood and it looks like he will be unconscious again soon.

"No I don't, your not making much sense, start explaining, come on, stay awake"

The man closes his eyes but manages to speak once more.
"Everything...Everything is going to plan...I-I don't like my boss...you could..you...should..."
He lapses into unconsciousness.
