It is Yosh-ee because i have played Super Mario Bros. 64 DS and all Yoshi games (including SSB, Melee and Brawl) and Yoshi has always pronounced it Yosh-ee

Yeah, Yosh-ee is definitely the right pronunciation for Yoshi, I've never heard anyone say his name as Yo-She

lol, its just a fictional dinosaur type creature from the Nintendo universe. I've never gotten any indication of what gender Yoshi is from playing Yoshi's Island on the SNES (awesome game that is, very good side-scroller), so I just assumed he was male, but if you want to say that Yoshi is a girl, it makes no difference to me. As far as I know, the correct pronunciation for his/her name is Yosh-ee, but at the end of the day it doesn't really make any difference how you pronounce his/her name, everyone is going to know who your talking about no matter how you say his/her name.
