Basically the best thing guys can do, is be considerate of the girl's feelings and you'll usually get it right. If you make a mistake, no biggie, just apologise, try not to do it again and if she won't forgive you then she's not worth the hassle (unless you cheated on her).

There's nothing wrong with 20 as far as I'm concerned, but like emilia said, there is a way of doing it, like many other things.
