James and I found this awesome box of Jelly Beans on Friday

They are by Jelly Belly and they are called Bean Boozled.

It contains very weird flavours.

Basically, when you take one out of the box, you have a 50/50 chance of getting a horrible flavour.

There are 8 colours.

For one colour, there are two flavours.

For example, if you pick up a green jelly bean, you will have one that tastes like a juicy pear or... a booger.

The other pairings are

Buttered popcorn - Rotten egg
Caramel corn - Moldy cheese
Coconut - Baby wipes
Berry blue - Toothpaste
Peach - Vomit
Plum - Black pepper
Top banana - Pencil shavings

I have picked up toothpaste (which tastes like those listerine strips), black pepper (which is extremely peppery) and pencil shavings (which isn't so bad. I actually ate it).

My brother got a rotten egg.

We have yet to try the other colours or get a nice tasting one!

Who would dare to try one of the other flavours?

So basically they're Bertie Bott's Every Flavoured Beans for Muggles?

I'd try them. It's an adventure! It sounds awesome.

I am just curious who gets paid to taste these flavours to see if they are "right"

I have dared, dad brought this home a few weeks ago and they were all disgusting.

I looked on the ingredients list. Luckily vomit wasn't one hahaha

I was turned off jelly beans from a horrifying experience as a child. You know how they used to market Bertie Bott's beans and sell them? Well, they had tomato flavour, and I ate one, and dear God it was disgusting. Since then I've hated jelly beans. But those mini jelly belly ones are alright, I spose.

Anyway. I don't think I'd do it. Unless I was a little drunk. Can you smell them to work out what they are? Or, if that doesn't work, cut them in two and smell the insides? That should give it away.
