When the characters are finalised and we are ready to play, this is the guide on how to do it.
Put anything you want your character to say first.
“Oh no, not these damn robots again!”
Then put in if you are doing anything to your equipment or getting something out.
Fade quickly draws his handgun, as there is no time to ready his rocket launcher.
Finally, put what you are going to try and do. Use words like ‘attempt’ and ‘try’ so you don’t decide the outcome prematurely.
He takes aim and attempts to nail one of the robots before they start shooting.
A good thing to remember is the amount of time it takes to do something. In combat, actions need to be quick and deadly, but when puzzle solving or exploring, you may have more time to experiment.
