The PC I showed in my first post in this thread I handed over to my Dad since I needed a good laptop to bring around with me away from home. I resorted to settling with an ASUS G73JW-A1 laptop instead of a desktop...

As requested heres a quick photo of my setup.

I've actually put the monitors back into landscape mode since then, but I'll take a new photo and add it to this post a bit later on.

edit: Ok heres a newer photo, you'll have to excuse the crappy quality... i've bought 3 phones now and not one of em is capable of taking decent photos :/

OCD is bugging me now about that mess of wires behind them now looking at this picture, I did have them all nice and neat but then I came home drunk one night and accidentally knocked the floating shelf down and watched all three monitors hit the ground hard!

Just put em back up and haven't been game enough to go near it again since!

Really need to invest in a new desk but that can wait until I have the rest of my water cooling gear!

This photo is still going around facebook pages has around 1000 so far and properly 100 000 people saw it.I think i took photo a month ago. I left a little easter egg on photo (Look at slider on ipod screen Razz

w00t w00t, Told myself I can't buy any more upgrades for my pc for the next few weeks so I decided to see how much further I could overclock it and I'm thoroughly impressed!

What I thought originally was a bit of a dud overclocker just became the fastest 7970 on overclockers.com.au Very Happy

Video Card 1380Mhz Core / 1830Mhz VRAM (effectively 7320mhz)

CPU - 5Ghz
RAM - 2Ghz

Super stoked with that, good way to kill most of the day Razz

Pfft, starving to buy yourself parts is totally normal.

Going to eventually SLI my 670, probably have the second card as an EVGA just for the cooling type.

Just put my monitors and some other spare bits up for sale :'(
May end up selling the whole rig soon since It's way overpowered for just running a single screen.

but.... I did pick up my car today! ($320 to get it towed!!! eeeegads!!)
Time to rebuild it and get out and have some fun instead of nerding it up in front of the computer all day long Very Happy
