hahahaha. Do you know everyone started listening to Muse because their music was in Twilight? I like the song Supermassive Blackhole, but yeah.

My recommendation is Massive Attack. Never heard of them? The theme song from House, Teardrop, is their number one song. They are the inventers of a genre called Trip Hop, a type of electronic house music.

Hollywood undead, well, they are pretty good, they are a little like LP with the rapping of the versus, but still heavy metal as such...

I know I'm a bit late, but I reckon Muse's latest album is a pile of dog vomit. I liked the first two, but. Albums that is.

From me (only listen if you dare):
Ween
the Polyphonic Spree
Frank Zappa
Mumford And Sons
Aphex Twin
Radiohead
the Residents
Modest Mouse
The Flaming Lips
Pearl Jam
Portishead
Tripping Daisy
Nine Inch Nails
Pink Floyd
Spiritualized
R.E.M
Liam Finn
Them Crooked Vultures
Sigur Rós

...I could go on for hours =p

make your own mind up; if you like that style of music, then go for it. I've never gotten into it - they do exactly the same thing for 3 minutes, then change one little note and everyone's like :
" YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Not that I don't like minimalist music, just not this. I'm always willing to give it another go but Smile

Portishead! You ROCK Matt!

I have just started getting into them. I wanted to hear some more Trip Hop. I am loving Glory Box.

Hehehe Glory Box is a classic. They only have 3 albums (4 if you include the live one), and they're all fairly easy to find at your JB Hi-Fi (do you have them in WA?), and cheap too Smile. They are Dummy, Portishead and Third.

Found the Powderfinger cover? They did a cover of it for a compilation record called 'No Man's Woman', where male singers covered songs by female singers. Anyway, Powderfinger did Glory Box, and while I'm not usually a P-Finger fan, this one is gooood Smile
