Yes, we are all very young here, but I am sure there are some things you want to do before you die.

So share them with us. I'm sure there are some interesting ones.

Travelling around Australia would be pretty cool. People take a whole year to do them. Usually the thing they do as soon as they retire.

Well the obvious ones would be;

> Get married
> Have children
> Travel the world

Some other more unique ones;

> See every band i want live
> Create the games i've always wanted to create
> Be vegetarian for a year or even more
> Create a band and record at least one song

Well i've had these ideas for Flash games for awhile now, i just havn't had the motivation to make them. One is a tower defense game, and the other is a 4 part RPG game.

I also want to create 3D games. I'd love to use the Source engine and make a game that is Deus Ex and Arkham Asylum/City inspired, and also a huge FPS game like Battlefield but with hundreds of players and destructible environments.

I might build the flash games for Steam Greenlight, when that becomes available,

My list:
* From pretty much the beginning of my life I've always aspired to be a film actor/director professionally. I am doing it pretty well right now but I am looking forward to working on bigger projects and hopefully joining my icons like Chris Nolan and Spielberg someday Smile

* Use the above for charity. Many things used in films including costumes and even entire sets are wasted when production has ended. There are crazy people with a lot of money and I thought if I made large scale films I could sell whatever we don't need and accumulate funds for charity.

* Develop at least ONE GAME. That is Revolution: Genesis (WIP title). I cannot post links so search that on IndieDB and please show me support!

* Rise in prominence with drumming. I used to play the drums LIKE CRAZY and I even got into a rock band. But since my Dad sold my kit I never viewed music the same again. I'd really love to be able to return to drumming.

* Likewise with dancing. At my Year 9 and 10 formals I was labelled as "The High School Trivolta" Razz I danced at the Sydney Opera House back in '05 and I love the thrill of performing in front of thousands of people for some reason Very Happy I love dancing and I wish to perform it more often.

* Continue Karate: I have been a certified black-belt since 2009 and I still exercise and practice...I even had to use some defensive maneuvers recently. But the fun of karate is also in sparring with other students and making good friends Smile I did get additional "Degrees" including ninja...I am a CERTIFIED NINJA!

@TheDerrMan:

I've been working on my ambitious game project for two years with pretty much just myself. What always kept the project together was my incorruptible motivation. Motivation is key, especially when having a team together. But you cannot control everything and people certainly come and go.

I really like your idea! Deus Ex and the Arkham games are my most favorite games of all time. Just keep being motivated, focus exactly on what you're after and you'll get support eventually.

@Emilia: My grandparents did that a few years ago and I've yet to hear their great stories! Don't forget to stop by Sydney Very Happy

Be careful what you wish for... Wink

The idea of a bucket list is something that only struck me as something I might attempt recently, so it's a bit short. In no particular order:

- Visit Jamaica and/or Cuba and immerse myself in the culture
- Start a small letterpress boutique, printing made-to-order wedding stationery and original prints
- Take a month or so to travel nowhere in particular, that is to say pack a few clothes and my camera, and just drive in any random direction stopping wherever and whenever I find something interesting, trying as many new things as I can.

Don't we all! The trick is falling for someone who loves you back. I'm not speaking from experience of course. Not at all. *Whistles innocently*

This is an awesome idea. If I'm not mistaken, the producers of the Matrix used the materials from the freeway they built to build cheap houses in Mexico. More people should think about how they dispose of such things.

This can be one of the hardest things in the world.
And keeping that love going is harder still.
