I looked into the biome change and apparently it happens when you stop the server without using the "stop" command.

Honestly, the town looks ugly. I liked all the bright green trees.

Apparently, if you change the seed for the world, it will change the biomes and not the already generate landscape.

If you get NBTEedit, you will be able to do this.

Would you mind backing up the server and trying this for us?

Ah, fair enough. I have MCEdit already, can I use it instead?

Are you able to edit seeds in it?

Honestly, I don't know how to do anything with it, it's all Greek to me.
