This story really upset me. This boy was on his way to meet his mother and was kidnapped and then murdered and cut into pieces.
The man was found and let the police into his apartment when question, finding half his body in the freezer, the other half in various locations.

How must his parents feel, even after doing a dry run of the walk from day camp, to find out what happened to there son.
How must the police have felt walking into that apartment and seeing what was there, scarred for life probably.

8 years old and thats how your life ends?

That is so tragic. You can't trust anyone these days, even for directions.

I hope they throw away the key on this guy.

The annoying thing i find is that the guy that did it, he said he did it because he "panicked"

what did he have to panic about? What was he thinking of doing? did the thought of not kidnapping him come to his head? and the only logic thing he could think of was to kill him? and then he does so so brutally?
it's disgusting.

I feel so sorry for their family, their boy not so far away and now they have lost their child, just because he went to ask for help to get back home.

That is horrible. How could anyone be so cruel to do such a thing? I agree, he should be locked away and the key thrown away.

Btw, i didnt get a chance to read the whole thing, but why did the fact he was jewish come up? Was the guy who killed him a racist or something? If not, i think the fact that a 8yo was kidnapped and killed is plenty fine to get peoples attention. It is just so sad.

I'm just wondering what does it mean by "Dry run".

The guy was Jewish and he killed in a Jewish neighbour.

The dry run was the parents sending the child to walk home the day before he went to camp, so he knew how to get home when he actually went to camp.

We call it a test run here.

I saw pictures from the funeral and the boy was part of a very big hasidic jewish community.
My heart breaks for this family

However, I think it is absolutely lovely that the community has come together for this boy.

Least you know there is some love out there.

This has happened before and it will happen again.

This is a fine example of why the death sentence should be brought back.

There is no point in questioning why the guy panicked, he is obviously crazy and needs to be put down.

There is no racism here James, just plain old insanity.

On another note, news seems so boring to me. Its sad that people die, but its not going to make a difference to me and its rather silly that they put in all of those meaningless details in that article.
