Is it offensive to call someone a bogan?

It all depends on how well you know the person i guess. Its the same with anything that could be taken as an insult.

It's funny, because Kevin Rudd called Julia Gillard a bogan.

She does have the bogan voice. She has the same voice as Kath from Kath & Kim.

If you are calling a stranger a bogan I would take that as an offensive act.

However, if it is a good friend, then it is probably fine.
