I know a guy who went down a hill on a longboard. He hit a pole and broke both his femurs and got brain damage. That was like two year ago, and even how he's a little slow to learn new things and he can't walk entirely normally. Just thought I'd scare you

hehe thats why i wear a helmet and proper pads when im bombing hills at over 70km/h! i also try to avoid cars and things like poles and trees. that said, when i had my 1/5 scale rc car i managed to hit the only tree for miles out at lancelin one day, just about destroyed my $3k rc car!

Tbh, i cant skate what so ever, however... after your little training thing chris, i managed to get on my bro's board and im semi good at staying on and turning and all that on the rip-sticks now

Yeah that was quite the epic thing, considering we were waiting for like 15 minutes for all the cars to pass, and then we were like "ok its safe" you started, and 3/4 of the way down the hill near max speed a car turned in u had to bail so quick lol

yes 'bail' aka get ownt by road instead of car

im currently trying to set up my loaded vanguard to carve like a mofo but the bushings are WAYY too hard for it

Know this is an ancient thread but I started longboarding about 3 months ago, just do street stuff. I love it, really helps clear my mind.
