All I can see happening from this is retaliation. I would not be surprised if there are going to be lots of terror attacks in the weeks to come.

Yer the worst thing that can happen is if Osama becomes a Martyr, then the people kill in his name. I mean it's kinda surreal to hear his death, and to have them retaliate and retaliate will either lead to another War, complete destruction, or a Retaliation from the US that may just destroy their whole force etc. and could have a big effect on the Morale of the people who are allied with the US etc.

but time will tell :O

I don't think killing Osama Bin Laden is going to make much of a difference, people will still fight regardless

Actually i never said i was happy, i said i was surprised that they had killed him my reaction was more like

"Huh?.. really? thaaaats' kinda.. surreal?"

but i did find it extremely funny telling you Osama had died every 5 seconds.. only because your brother made it funny ;D hahaha.


but i honestly think in a way it's kinda sad? cos people are cheering that they killed people, and i find that kinda sadish in a way, but at this time America does need something for their esteem.

I think he would prefer to be dead after what I just saw on the news, if he wasnt killed it woulda caused alot of crap for america, and he would have been waterboarded over and over for interrigation even though it is banned in Guantanamo bay or something

I just find it more interesting that they threw his body out to sea. I understand why they did that, but surely that is just going to make people more angry.

Well they didnt want them to have a body, cos they would find it more dangerous if he had a "Shrine" or a "Temple" cos then it would mean they could kill in his name a lot more easily (easier since in a sence for them it's "justified" like they prey in the temple and they were told to kill etc.) it can be used as a defence for their actions.

Has anyone considered that they may have killed the wrong guy and are using that to cover their mistake? That he had already died some other way a while ago to something else and they needed to say they killed him to make them seem competent even though it took them almost 10 years? One guy from amerian government was using it to claim that they will always find who they are looking for, to talk themselves up

OMG! What EVER gives you the idea that the government would keep information from us???? LOL! Trust me, if there is 1 thing everyone should know, is that the government will never tell the whole truth, they will say as much as they think they should to make themselves look good. Especially another countries government... Imagine if they went on live tv and say "We found Osama! But he was already dead to "Insert terminal disease here" So really thats the only reason we found him, he was 12 steps infront of us before he died but we found him! Hooray for our government!" The whole world watching would go so quite for about 15 seconds before they all start screaming out how they are such failures at their jobs and next thing you know Americans are going "Viva La Revolution!"

If they are covering it up and claiming it as their kill, that is probably the most stupid thing they can do. Yeah, it may make the government look good to their allies for killing one of the most dangerous men in the world, but as the LEADER of one the most dangerous organisations in the world, it has just put a giant target on the USA.

I am curious as to what Dave (Major) is thinking about all this, because he is American.

im pretty sure they did a DNA test before they through him in the water because if he was killed in a gun fight, im sure there wouldn't have been much left of him, so it was said it matched with a family relative they had think it was from his dead sisters brain, and supposably was announced as it happened

but idk.
