This will be an on going blog for me to added random things I discover about pharmacy (and that I think you would find interesting)
So, I was looking through my SUSMP and I was flicking through the Schedule 8 drugs (means it is very highly regulated (dexamphetamines is an example of this)) and I came across this drug
It is called Thebacon.
It is a synthetic opioid (morphine is a type of opioid), so it is used for pain relief.
The thing is, I have no idea how to pronounce this drug, because all I can read it as is THE BACON. Theb-a-con maybe?
I just think someone was very hungry at the time when they named this drug
It doesn't really look like bacon...
