Getting Known
1. Be willing to help other league members. If a guild member needs help with a mission and you're in the neighbourhood, tag along for the ride and give them a helping hand. Maybe you have done that particular mission but if you can spare a little time it doesn't hurt - and it will probably be a bit of fun.
2. Share resources. If another league member has an item, don't sell it maybe another league member could use that particular item and could be very handy for them.
3. League bank. If there are things in the league bank that you need then take them. Do not take things you don't need just to sell them. That's not what the bank is for. If you legitimately need something but isnt in the bank ask an officer
4. Loyalty pays. If you choose to leave the guild you may join again later but you will join as a recruit. In fairness to members who have been loyal enough to stay with the league you don't get your old rank back without working up to it. If you leave the league a second time, you might not be permitted to rejoin.
5. Voice chat. League members may use voice chat but only certain ranks have this option.
6. Keep it PG. This is a league for players of all ages and we have members of all ages. Keep bad language out of the game (the game has a profanity filter). Have fun chatting to other league members but try to be mature about it.
Promotions
Promotions within the league generally depend on a few things. Firstly - helping others. The players who get promoted are the ones who are unselfish and don't mind helping out other players. That includes experienced DCUO players who share their experience as well as new DCUO players who try hard to help out however they can and have a willingness to learn. Selfish players and players who badmouth others (especially those who badmouth new players) don't get promoted. If you think someone in the league is a good team player or if you think someone's not so good, tell a league officer since the officers aren't always on to see who's playing well. And remember, building trust can take time. Even if you are a great team player, don't expect to rocket through the ranks too quickly. If you deserve a promotion, it will happen in good time.
Note: Not every good member will be promoted since we only need so many officers. Good members can be rewarded in other ways as well like items etc.
