I am a computer geek and spend a lot of time on the computer.
Sounds antisocial, but I know a lot of people from all over the world now.

I'm a nerd. For example yesterday I went to the library and looked at some incredibly heavy anatomy books for no real reason and noticed that they had an organ drawn incorrectly.

I am also nerd. I narrate TA now and I like it.

Though i do work at a pub - not sure how nerd that puts me at on a scale of 1 to 10.

I think the concept of a nerd is fluid, many people use computers and do stuff like that now. Its not like the olden days where only programmers could use computers because they only ran off MS-DOS lmao

People may use computers, but simply using them doesn't make you a nerd or a geek though. I'm not a computer geek or computer nerd, because I don't know how they work or how to fix things if they break. I think that's the definition. But like Emilia, I spend a hell of a lot of time on computers and on the internet.

Nerd is when you are really knowledgeable

Geek is something you overly love that the normal population don't.

So I am a geek for computers, but I am a nerd (kinda) because I know quite a bit about them too.

I'm really easily excited by nerdy things - like the the fact that an academic wrote an article in 1944, before the end of WW2, that predicted the European Union.

I'm sure someone predicted everything, provided it isn't a totally random event.

That being said, I have no idea what the European Union is except that it exists.

It's the political and economic union of a bunch of European countries. So for example instead of each country having their own currency, they've all (except Britain) got Euros now.
