Anybody do any cool video game or otherwise nerdy halloween costumes this year? Do a lot of Australians even celebrate halloween?
This year me and my wife decided to go as some members of Starfox. Pretty pleased with how it came out.

In my area, Halloween is becoming more popular, but I'd still go with 1 in 100 houses maybe doing it.

Its more of a teenager excuse to get drunk around here.

Yeah, Halloween is not important here. No one really does Trick or Treating. A few people will host a party, dress up and get drunk. A lot of people had parties the weekend before and not last night.

Much the same here. Except the volume of alcohol consumed would have been much greater and in a much shorter space of time. Come to think of it, that's more or less most weekends here bar the fancy dress stuff. Btw, nice costume TrevThumb!

Yeah i have to say it isn't a big thing and most households are not too receptive to trick or treaters anyway cos its not a holiday celebrated officially i guess.
