Hey, at least we kick it more than they do in American football.
And I've seen those headphones, the idea is that one of the earpieces wraps around the back of your neck, and they usually come with extension cables. No idea why though.

They're around the back of the head style as Pearly mentioned, used for hiding them in hoods of jumpers etc, works pretty well.
